Robertson Life Sciences Building (RLSB)
We are located in the new OHSU South Waterfront campus. The CLSB building is a 650,000 square feet state-of-the-art collaborative research facility that brings together academics with Medical, Dental, Pharmaceutical and Engineering backgrounds, from OHSU, Portland State University and Oregon State University. The $295 million building is the first on this scale to combine the resources of multiple universities to offer the best possible science education and research opportunities for students. The Pfeifer Lab is part of the Division of Biomaterials and Biomedical Sciences in the Department of Oral Rehabilitation and Integrative Biosciences. |
Biomaterial Synthesis and Characterization Core at OHSU
Our lab has an extensive list of instruments for materials and chemical characterization. Our mechanical characterization systems include 2 universal testing machines, a rheometer, DMA, SEM, and DSC. Chemical characterization include FT-IR, HPLC, and GC-MS. In addition, we have access to several analytical instruments from PSU including, LCMS, and 400mhz and 600mhz NMR. Other than access to our instruments, we also provide specimen preparation and testing services, as well as custom synthesis. Please visit the core website or contact [email protected] for more information. Non-OHSU users, please note: our instance of iLab is locked down to registered users only. Everyone with an OHSU network account can access. If external users are at a university that uses iLab, they can access the core through the link. But external users without institute-wide access need to register for an iLab account using the Register link at the top-right of our iLab landing page. Once iLab creates your account, you can access the core through the direct link above. |
